I’m Heather Main, an experienced journalist and author with a passion for bringing personal histories to life.
With a warm, inquisitive approach, I help people open up and share the moments that matter most.
I’ve interviewed hundreds of people, and so many of them have told me they have always planned to write down the important chapters of their life - but either don’t know where to start or simply don’t have the time.
I have spent years helping people share their life stories with national newspapers. I write real-life stories regularly for The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph and The Daily Mail.
However, I don’t think you should have to have your story published in a newspaper or magazine for it to be professionally crafted and professionally preserved.
I know how to ask the right questions to uncover the tiny details; the characters, the funny moments - the things you’d forgotten you’d remembered - and ensure they remain part of your story.
I’m genuinely interested in people and love nothing more than sitting down for a chat and listening to your story. I get so much pleasure from meeting people and helping them share a special or important moment in their life with the world; and I’d love to do the same for you, too.
