I’m a journalist and author who specialises in helping people tell their personal stories in their own words.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my 20 years in journalism, it’s that everyone has a story to tell.
I’ve interviewed hundreds of people, and so many of them have told me they have always planned to write down the important chapters of their life - but either don’t know where to start or simply don’t have the time.
I have spent years helping people share their life stories with national newspapers. I write real-life stories regularly for The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph and The Daily Mail.
However, I don’t think you should have to have your story published in a newspaper or magazine to have it professionally told. The special moments in everyone’s life deserve to be preserved.
I know how to ask the right questions to get the tiny details; the characters, the funny moments - the things you’d forgotten you’d remembered - and make them all part of your story.
I’m genuinely interested in people and love nothing more than sitting down for a chat and listening to your story. I consider myself lucky to have a job that doesn’t really feel like work.
I get so much pleasure from meeting people and helping them share a special or important moment in their life with the world; and I’d love to do the same for you, too.

We arrange a relaxed interview - usually over video call. I’ll guide the conversation to help you remember the little details that make your story so special. You don’t need to prepare anything beforehand other than a cup of tea and a biscuit.
I WRITE
I take everything you’ve told me and turn it into a polished, engaging piece of writing, in your voice and based entirely on your memories.
YOU RECEIVE YOUR STORY
You’ll receive your finished story as a beautifully presented digital document, ready to print, share with family, or keep safe for generations to come.
